Doris Griffin

Director, Jefferson Outreach for Older Adults

Ms. Griffin has been Executive Director of Jefferson Outreach for 26 years. This organization provides a range of services that allow seniors to maintain their independence and remian in their home as long as possible.

Ms. Griffin has served on numerous boards and committees. She is now serving her eighth terma as a Texas Silver Hair Legislature and, the board of the Bexar Senior Advisory Committee, the Joint City County Commission on Elderly Affairs, the Heritage Board of Advisors, as well as the SALSA Board. She has co-hosted a local television sho "Live Longer and Love it" for four and a half years.

She was married to George Griffin, an Airforce Chief Master Sergeant for 57 years. She has traveled to over 24 countries and much of the United States. She has 3 beautiful children, 8 Grandchildren and 4 Great-Grandchildren. She enjoys spending quality time with her family, shopping, singing, and helping others.
